The last time you went into MYER Miss Shop you were probably 12 years old with all the pink hair and the bobby socks. Or maybe you were 15 with an angry undercut and dirty Ramones tee. Either way, it was a while back and you were someone else. But now there is reason to go back - back into the bowels of MYER, back to your bobby socks but, hopefully, not back to that undercut.
Miss Shop might be older than you (the original incarnation was built in 1954 and the current form in 1985) but it's still got style. It's the kind of style that you might not want to rub all over, but the kind that works a dream when paired with a Surface 2 Air tee or a LOVER jumpsuit. You know how we know? Because we went there. Twenty five years down the line and Miss Shop still got it. We found winter-proof duffle coats. Socks: patterned, coloured and striped. Scarves soft enough to sleep in and preppy schoolgirl straw hats that we can still get away with (according to at least one witness).
We also think that should get down there to experience it yourself, which is why we have five $100 vouchers to give away.

ThreeThousand is a subcultural guide to Melbourne, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Melbourne writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence ThreeThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
