So the other day I went with some pals to a place in Oakleigh called Sidetracked. It's this big shed in the middle of nowhere with a crappy old sign out the front that hides what is actually inside, NOTHING BUT FUN!
Go-karting, mini golf, laser shooting, video games, dim-sims, and ‘pepsi drinks'. We went immediately to the go-karts and signed up to the ‘adult' version because apparently the cheaper one is for pussies (children). We were greeted by a dude who looked like a young Jack Black who explained to us the rules in a ‘jokey' manner because he obviously thought we were a bunch of cool dudes.
However hiding underneath his gags, that he had obviously used a million times before, was a sadness which seemed almost overwhelming. I wanted to give him a hug but he looked like he would smell real bad, kinda like the smell of a chronic masturbator who never cleans his sheets.
Anyway I came second in the race, mostly because the girl who won was cheating but damn it was good sweaty fun! Go down there kids! Give the staff a hug from me.
