Kidzmania
One of my fears is dishing out a severed finger from a tub of yoghurt. Another is being trapped underground, in a coffin, with Daryl Somers. But my all time fear is Kidzmania. It is one of those hyper-colour indoor playgrounds you get at crappy shopping malls in the suburbs.
Historically, the Romans prototyped the first thing of this type, with the aim of torturing the Christian parents of ADHD kids (they later abandoned it as too cruel). But, to put it in perspective, going to Kidzmania is to kidz what going to see TV On the Radio on a balmy summer's night with five of your best friends in Williamsburg, NYC, is to the rest of us.
Granted, Kidzmania does have a special birthday throne, however their website claims their party rooms are able to cater for 10 to 80 kids comfortably. I'm pretty sure my year 12 English teacher said 80 kids coupled with comfortably was an oxymoron. The place is open for work functions and christenings. OK Kidzmania, now you're being silly.
Dont ever go there.
