Too flabby for frisbee? Too much of a bogan for golf? Well, do I have a sport for you. It's called frisbee golf, ladies and gentleman, and, according to the Professional Disc Golf Association: it exists. Tim and I went to the park to play a very makeshift version of it, and guess what - it's great.

As with traditional golf, or 'golf 1.0' as we now call it, the rules are simple: throw your disc into a target in fewer strokes than your opponent. We had three different sized discs ranging from the driver (large) an iron (medium) and a putter (small). Though there are regulation targets, we just used a wide bucket with a bike flag taped to it.

Frisbee golf has a distinctly made-up feel to it, not helped by the looks you get when you play it. Taking that first shot, well you don't exactly feel like Michael Jordan. Plus, on a straight course, it's only slightly more exciting than an oversized game of coights. But, with a few obstacles and a healthy amount of sledging, it soon became an epic battle of wit and poise. As for who won, well that's really not important.
