Most of what you're going to find here can only be described as cute. I'm not the only one saying it: while I was looking around, two girls walked in and the first thing one of them said was "Oh! Isn't this cute?"
How cute? We're talking alphabet paperclips, speech bubble blackboards and paper napkins printed with a map of Berlin... If that stuff ain't cute then I don't know what is. The least nauseating object I could find was a dinner plate with Jack the Ripper's face on it, but even that I could imagine being loaded with dainty cupcakes covered in pink icing. Blergh.
This is a good place to find gifts for people you don't know very well but would like to impress with something a bit more thoughtful than, say, a Target voucher. That's how I see it, anyway. I'm not really the design-object type, so if you know someone who would really dig a bag of nails with flower heads on the tips, knock yourself out.
