Polyester Records has secured real estate in Fitzroy long enough for it to be as familiar as family. We all know the drill. You walk in, chat to the store workers like they're your siblings, you may or may not purchase a musical delight from their goodly collection and you walk out collecting several kinds of street press on the way.
Lock up your sons and daughters because Polyester Records has spawned a younger and much hotter relation. It's big, bright and has a vinyl collection to make even Rob Gordon wobbly at the knees.
While the fancy polished concrete and impressive design by Architect Imogen Pullar says, "we are oh, so NEW AND SHINY!" the staff are reliably friendly with the humble musical nous we know and love.
