The five boroughs are used to describe the distinct areas of New York City to avoid confusing it as one large whole of geographical space. It is also a little store in East Brunswick with some big principles: to stock goods that are high in quality, low run, handmade and look pretty on a shelf.
To fit in with these rules, they stock goods such as a replicated ceramic version of the iconic New York coffee cups (pictured). (Cue pointed finger and flashing bulb: did you know that the famous greek paper cup has been around since 1963 and currently 180,000,000 per year are carried out of New York diners?)
The store also stocks the Rewind coffee/tea/cocoa vintage canisters. The reason we must draw attention to these canisters is that we, too, believe in Rewind's obscure marketing slogan, "drinking decaffeinated coffee is like kissing your sister". Ew.
