What:
The Contagion of Suggestibility
Who:
Ed Templeton
Where:
Keith and Lottie or on order through good booksellers
This, the intriguingly titled fourth book by Skater/Artist Ed Templeton, is a collection of paintings, photographs and words. Expect much more than a skate-n-snap scrapbook, there is no "streets" (Skating's Totally Rad Everything Else Totally Sucks) mentality here: instead you'll discover a documentary of comradeship, youth, sex and melancholy.
Also, as Toy Machine Bloodsucking Skate Co's founder, Templeton has kept busy with his Mined Empty exhibition opening in Copenhagen on 5 September. For first timers, The Contagion of Suggestibility is a great introduction, while long-time devotees will be equally as gratified.
