Wall Two 80 is an institution for Melbourne's café mafia and on any given morning you'll find it pleasantly busy with relaxed, sophisticated types - the sort that make you wonder what they actually do for a living. The outside benches are definitely pole position, but if the weather isn't favourable you can always find a good nook, because nobody creates good nooks like Six Degrees architects who designed Wall Two 80.
Everything is kept pretty simple on the culinary front, mainly toasted pide (Debreuner sausage, roast tomato relish, Dijon and rocket is a winner), soup, toast with great jams for breakfast, or try the muesli with sheep milk yoghurt, rhubarb and pear. The coffee (Genovese) is definitely up there with the best in town as well, so when you add it all up, Wall Two 80 deserves to be the institution that it is.
