What:Chromeo, Chromeo, where fort art thou Chromeo?
Right here it would seem, with a massive mix to slap you out of your slumber and to stop your painful pining. Featuring Sharon Redd, Kleer, Jellybean, Herbie Hancock, Warp 9 and even Robert Palmer and Modern Romance Montreal's Chromeo are as eclectic as they are cool. Following up on their album She'z In Control, out through Modular, this release is a fun-filled side-step, a return to their roots that might help explain some of the eighties Hall and Oates radness that defined their first original record. Un Joli Mix Pour Toi is the musical equivalent of Bill and Ted's, more intelligent perhaps, but nevertheless an excellent adventure that goes back in time with a tongue firmly in its cheek.
