What:Most of us barely have enough money for a daily tram ticket, let alone to cultivate an art collection. But when an original work that lasts FOREVER can be bought for just $100, walking for a month starts to sound good.
Craft Victoria’s hush hush silent bidding and exhibition starts this Thursday, with work from local artists Ramona Barry, Kris Coad, Sophie Milne and Jessie Tucker on display and ripe for the bidding.
The exhibition culminates on December 2 with a live auction, and all funds raised will go to a series of grants for the partaking artists. Even if a bid seems out of your budget, pool your shrapnel and who knows, you could walk away with the goods.
