Secret IGA

What:
The Secret IGA (an SMS interview)

Where:
399 Bourke St, Melbourne

When:
When supermarkets are open, etc

Edie: I'm at secret IGA now. More details to follow.
Penny: I have decided to interview you via sms, I will transcribe. How did it go, what do they have there?
Edie: First and foremost, they have whippets. Right there out in the open. For the taking.
Penny: Amazing. And are they live?
Edie: I've just been informed that what Americans call whippets, you all call whippy bulbs, nangs. Nitrous. You know, teenage drugs.
Penny: Oh, I thought you meant dogs.

Penny: What was the shopping experience like?
Edie: I bought things... They have bulk lettuce, mushrooms and scroggin.
Penny: Just how much lettuce counts as bulk? Like, more than one basket? Also, do you think scroggin is lame?
Edie: I was defining bulk to be as much or as little as you want to buy. I like buying four mushrooms, for example. Safeway doesn't give me that option. As for scroggin, this is the trail mix, mind you - no chocolate there.
PM: Everyone should have these kinds of quantity options, for both lame and trail foods I feel. Thanks for reporting Edie.
