Sahara, despite its name, is an oasis in a desert of crap city cafes. Positioned above Swanston Street it is a nice reminder of what Melbourne used to be like before the city's developers and architects gave birth to QV. From the second floor, Sahara gives those who love good cafés a chance to look down on big shopping centre types both literally and spiritually. As well as coffee, great service and soothing teas they serve up a definite contender for the best bagel in town, awesome salads, tapas, and Coopers longnecks and they are open for both lunch and dinner. Man is not a camel.
