Description:
If you are a good citizen of the intermenet, you probably know about Rocketboom. Sure, bad name, but it's the world's most popular videocast. Unlike all other web-based media, apart from TwoThousand (hehe), it generates millions in ad revenue annually. According to The New York Times, Rocketboom (not, as is commonly thought, Water Rats) wrote ‘the obituary of TV'. The founder and all-round big man, Andrew Baron, is giving a talk this Monday as part of the Portable Film Festival. If you have a dream of worldwide nerd stardom, or wish to transcend the tedium of CSI: Televison, this is your chance to learn the secrets. - PM
