This year, Rooftop Cinema worked with Berlin/London-based photographer Jan von Holleben. That is why the posters make you cry tears for your lost childhood.
Beginning from Jan's 'Dreams of Flying' series, secondary images were developed to imply multiple cinematic narratives. It's a simple play on perspective, but done with imagination, humour and sincerity. Like wearing someone's underpants as a shirt/hat.
Currently on show in Sydney, Jan's images will be making their way to Rooftop Cinema for an exhibition sometime in January. If you aren't familiar with Jan's work we recommend that you spend some time on his site.
