Do you remember the little moater that could? He dived into the shallows of the NGV moat and managed to pay for his dinner that night. It's wonderful when citizens make good use of our decorative water features. Chris Doyle thinks so, too. The Brooklyn-based artist projects video pieces against city walls to create moving sculptures of light. But first, Doyle will need to invite you and your friends to pose as particular Melbourne landmarks: a Flinders Street clock, a fountain, or a beached moater if you wish. He'll then film us all and project the video against the walls of the NGV for Ecstatic City. - ID
