Description:
Everyone had a traumatic circus experience as a child. And why would you doubt it? These dubious travelling shows were essentially bands of meth-addled gypsies looking for a free camping spot and some thrills to augment their budget high. But the Women's Circus is here to restore our childhoods this month, and inject the industry with a timely dose of feminism while they're at it. Expect "Performers roaming the parklands before each show and a spectacular fire act in the park during interval." And the best part is, they won't continue to roam the park setting fire to things afterwards. They'll go home to their apartments. - PM
