Description:
The Hampdens' first record, The Last Party, launches at The Toff this Saturday, with The Greasers and Dann Hume supporting. Expect fourteen melodic tracks from this six-year-old trio, fully clad in white. (Sources say they only wear clothes made by friend Toni Maticevski.) (I wish my friends made me clothes.) Anyhoo, though influenced by the likes of Air and Fleetwood Mac, and dressed like they're trying to upstage you on your wedding day, The Hampdens have a dreamy, naïve youthfulness that makes you feel...well...just plain good. - MS
