While researching this show, we found that the Facebook event is as helpful as making a website to your future girlfriend when you're 11 years old. Yet the one fact we did find out is that the Mangles are a an all-man supergroup who will be playing Bangles covers all night long (or more likely, strictly contained within their 30 minute set). Royce Akers and Tim Harvey of Hot Little Hands; Myki of the now tragically defunct Yidcore, another guy we think might be an accountant. No matter, they have handbags. And they're so good Tim's brother is thinking of starting a rival supergroup called Mananarama. We don't know how many good songs the Bangles even had because we only ever bought the greatest hits album for that Egyptian one, but let's hope the others are just as catchy. - PC & PM
