Description:
When I was young I scored Wizz Fizz from Milk Bars and downed four Warheads at one time. And although I still Wiz Fizz and Warhead regularly, in comparison, life is a pooper. I did the maths and realised that the humble Milk Bar is fast disappearing. The world was better when homegrown typography and flaky paint meant advertising. It was honest. Natalie Jeffcott, Miikel Doomernick, Eamo Donnelly and Gemma Jones's photos will pay homage to our faded friends; the milk bar, the laundromat and what we now realise to be ‘urban beauty'. - MS
