Description:
Cheap leis are one of the many benefits that come with playing ukulele. And yet so many ukulele players in history have been fat and lonely. Look at Tiny Tim, Uncle Moe Keale (Waikiki Beach Boy, and star of TV's Hawaii 5-0), Elvis, etc. What those guys should have done is got themselves a ukulele band. The Melbourne Ukulele Kollective, for instance, has more than twenty people on stage busting through 22 songs an hour. And everyone wants to be their friend. Even though they spell Kollective with a K. Check them out at the Spiegeltent. Hawaiian shirts can be left at home or we'll punch your head in. - PM & LT
