Description:
Sound art: like regular art, but you can't talk at the launches. Just jerking your chain. Well, no actually you can't talk, but god what do you people want? Liquid Architecture is a national festival of sound art, invented nine years ago by the good people at the RMIT School of Art, and it's happening in Melbourne again this week. There will be performances, audio-visuals and installations. It is going to stimulate other senses for once and leave our porn-weary eyes to glaze over. The opening night performance features Marcus Schmickler (Germany), Alex White (Sydney) and Hi God People. That's right. Hi God People. So shut up. - PM
