Description:
Whether you're a frustrated seaman, a landlubber or just in the hunt for some vintage gear, the Hello Sailor Vintage Fair has got crazy loot. Mad booty. Also, clothes and trinkets and stuff. Spread over two levels and multiple rooms, it's a kaleidoscope of retro lamps, books, cameras, jewellery and sexual innuendo. Still not convinced? Okay, how about owl ornaments, horse statues, beers and a barbeque... Yes? No? Maybe? Do we really need to mention they have an entire section devoted to ‘Mexicana Kitsch handcrafts'? Will it help if we go on about all men's stuff they've found from a warehouse sealed in 1975? Look, we can't force you to come to this. Minimalists. - MN.

ThreeThousand is a subcultural guide to Melbourne, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Melbourne writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence ThreeThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
