Description:
Remember NBA Jam? The basketball game from back in the Megadrive / SNES era? The people behind Hangtime sure do. They loved that game. Loved it! Wanted to marry it and have its babies and stuff. Since that would be a crime against God and nature, they've done the next best thing - named their new (weekly) club night in homage. A mix of hip hop, sneaker culture, Baltimore club, flat brim caps, dancehall and electro, Hangtime is so achingly retro it's actually come full circle and is totally NOW. Crazy - anyone wanna talk about circular theory? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? No. Fine. We'll just wrap this up by saying the opening night is being headlined by Cassian and features a DJ set from Killa Queenz. Or, in the lexicon of NBA Jam: "He's on fire!" - MN.
