People running that line ‘oh no, I really can’t stand New Year’s Eve, I’m just gonna go camping somewhere with my pals, watch the sun set, eat a can of beans’. Everybody knows that completely blows. What you really want to do is get doused in sweat in the middle of the city after warming up for a solid eight hours on purple drank with your buddies and generally hitting it harder than Lil Jon. Thus, if you are not deceiving yourself like some sad hippie, Favela Rock NYE is for you. They’re putting together the best DJs from the past two years of Favela in a four-deck party jam. CWD, Mafia, Steezy and Ooh-Ee, Edo, Hans and Gaptooth, then Steezy and Edo (aka the Deuce Crew) will premiere their four-deck-plus-sampler special set. This is co-presented by Provider, so yes – people’s going to notice your shoes.
