Description:
I sometimes catch myself hating, head down, walking quickly in that peach bathroom tiled tube called Degraves Subway after getting out of Flinders Foul Town Station. I shouldn't. And you shouldn't either. Because there is a gallery there. And that's nice. So this month I will keep my head up and see two lovely ladies take over Platform Gallery. Abby Storey's collection of photographs, titled Touchstones, reflects on humanity through images of objects we value. The second lady is Lizzie Hall with her collection of soft-shell crocheted tanks. Crocheted tanks! - MS

ThreeThousand is a subcultural guide to Melbourne, published daily and fired by email weekly. It is compiled by an amorphous gaggle of Melbourne writers, stylists, designers and photographers who all like huddling under that big umbrella we like to call creativity. Without editorial independence ThreeThousand has nothing. All editorial you read is featured because it's worth it - not because it's paid for.
