If e-Bay makes you excited and you would like to translate that feeling towards the local visual produce, then this is auction for you. The bidding for works exhibited in Y3K'S fundraiser show is taking place as we speak (or read). Bidding? Yes! It started on Wednesday but don't freak! There is still time!

Opening a gallery is no easy thing to do, nor is it a lucrative venture straight away. A silent auction is an accessible and fun way to raise da funds, because everybody wins! Well, the highest bidder does. Also, a heightened dialogue between the viewers and the viewed* will take place in front of us as we see raw interest and the idea of ownership unfold over the course of the four-day show.

The closing party and final bids stop on Saturday at 5.45pm, so you still have a 2.5-day shot at owning one of the 15 works on display!

*Featuring Nick Selenitsch, Nick Mangan, Pat Foster & Jen Berean, Helen Johnson, Josh Petherick, Alex Vivian, Christopher LG Hill, James Deutsher, Misha Hollenbach, Matt Griffin, A Constructed World, Daniel Du Bern, Bianca Hester, Kain Picken & Rob McKenzie and Jon Campbell. Uh-huh.
