Drew Pettifer will soon be famous for photographing his friends. In an Andy Warhol sort of way though, not in a McGinley way. I'm not saying you want to see Drew's friends naked any more than you want to see McGinley's friends naked, or even Warhol's friends naked - especially these days, ewww.

Oh, I don't know what I'm saying. It's just that I like the sort of short-circuit thing that happens in Drew's pictures. They objectify everyone, just like regular photos, but the subjects seem to be objectifying Drew right back. Or hating him. In fact, if it wasn't pictures of men, you'd say this was post feminism in action.

Drew would like to point out that there are 71 works in the whole show, ranging from Polaroid size up to 60 x 40 inch. And there will be plenty of beer tonight. I would like to point out that this is one of those times when getting naked at the after party could really pay off in the long term.
