Nike Savvas's work, Atomic: Full of Love, Full of Wonder, is made specifically for ACCA and is an exploration of illusion and how we perceive and move through space. Made up of a constellation of 100,000 colourful hovering balls, strung across adjacent walls, this work is a sublime experience. As an Australian now living in London , Savvas contributes much of the work's inspiration to a longing for the Australian landscape. Not quite installation, not quite sculpture, and not quite computer-generated, Savvas suggests that we look at the process somewhat like a painting viewed firstly from a distance and then re-evaluated when at close quarters.

Savvas shows a glimpse of something that evades true comprehension. Looking into the immense sea of atomic balls, like some kind of tangible solar landscape, you may find yourself full of love and wonder in the realisation that not knowing can be just as enjoyable as knowing.
