PM: Lamington Drive is a pretty weird name for a gallery.

JW: Jeremy Wortsman is an even weirder name, so that wasn't an option.

PM: Why did you name it after a primary school fundraiser?

JW: Well when I first heard it I thought it was a street name, which reflects the community aspect of the agency as well as its Australia-centric mission. I also thought the idea of selling baked goods was a nice metaphor for the life of a commercial artist.

PM: Oh. We thought it was one of those things that seems funny when you move here from America. Like how we say rubbish bin and car park. We thought you were making a comment on our antipodean quaintness.

JW: Yes. That too.

PM: Oh right. So, will there be lamingtons at least?

JW: Absolutely.

PM: And what else?

JW: Beer. Wine. Art. Unicorns. Me.

PM: Give us some adjectives about the artists and your outfit.

JW: Handsome and ill-fitting. That covers both quite accurately.
