Far be it from the ThreeThousand staff to lay claim to being wine buffs, but we will say that this: Tannins Fine Wine's Yarra Valley Pinot 2003 is the perfect partner this winter. It has 12% Cab franc so it's a little fuller than most Pinots and has a kind of cherry undertone. Best of all it will love you unconditionally and soften the edges of this long harsh winter of discontent.
