Description:
Love or Perish are coming to the Tote from Brooklyn. Long way. No wonder they're pissed off! That's why the flyer says 'bratty punk rockers', usually they play power pop. This reprehensible candy-bum teeny bop outfit includes members of legendary Kill Rock Stars outfit The Peechees.

Description:
Mozart's for sissies. Mendelsohn is snoozetown. Rachmaninoff, well, what kind of name is that anyway. We like our classical music with body painted dancers, saw-wielding macho men, and a drug queen noise violinist bringing up the rear. Lucky then that Vampillia, the Japanese brutal orchestra, are back in town.

What:
Eagle and the Worm, Dirtbag, School of Radiant Living
Where:
The Tote, 71 Johnston St, Collingwood
When:
Tonight! Thurs Dec 17, doors 8.30pm
How much:

Description:
The Eagle and the Worm is the rather laid back, Ween-ish psych/soul good time band that everyone seems to be talking about at xmas dinners of late, in between stuffing generous servings of hot pudding with lashings of brandy butter down their gobs, that is. I also heard something about the School of Radiant Living's latest blog entry and someone else was rambling about how awesome Gill Tucker's other other project Dirtbag is, too.

They say you can judge a man by the company he keeps - well, in Dan Lewis' case, he must be up there with Jesus and Ricky Gervais in the good dude stakes, cos his 31st birthday party line-up is off the hook! Featuring the more accurately titled incarnation of the UV Race, 'The Warragul Disgrace', and accompanied by a host of others, this looks like a good, good time.

Post-punk existentialist shoegazers, Love of Diagrams, are launching the vinyl version of their latest geometrically pleasing album, Nowhere Forever, recorded last year in Seattle with Ryan Hadlock of Blonde Redhead acclaim. Sadly, regrettably, the Melbourne Bicycle Film Festival is drawing to a close. It was great though, wasn't it? Did you catch BMX Bandits? How bad was Nicole's hair back then?! Dreadful. You can only imagine the woolly orange nightmare that must've been flourishing in her basement.
