OK, let's get one thing straight: if your agenda this Friday post 6pm involves a goon bag and like, any wall leaning at all, you better not turn up to this exhibition launch. Because this show is awesome and the graphic designers of this town deserve the chance to mingle with one another, admiring posters designed for the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich without being heckled by your cheap-date friends who care more about getting a warm beer for free than the work of Sagmeister, Schraivogel, NORM
and Woodtli.

Subterraneans - Will Sweeney
London-based illustrative genius Will Sweeney rose to prominence in the art world through his graphics work for revered UK streetwear label Silas. Along with cohorts James Jarvis, Ben Sansbury and Lizzie Finn, Sweeney helped propagate more of an institution than a clothing label, culminating in the book Where is Silas?.

Hey, did you notice? Melbourne's art scene has been exploding and expanding. New galleries, artists, styles. Fresh meat and fresh grills on which to cook it. The Narrows is a new space on Flinders Lane that promises to shake up the sometimes dour exhibits on offer on the street. Correct: always dour.
