Warren at the definition-confounding gallery/book shop/cultural driving force The Narrows came up with a great idea here. Instead of simply marking down the stock in his own awesome Narrows Bookshelf, he invited some of Melbourne's most intriguing and collectible artists to bring in unwanted books, catalogues, CDs and LPs from their own private collections for a one day sale.
Description:
If you're not an enochlophobic, you would have hit the sales on boxing day like every other Tom, Dick and Sally. But for those of you who prefer congregations of twos and threes, don't pay full price yet, there's still some sale love to be had.

Description:
Your Aunty Barb is hard to buy for at Christmas. She squatted in London in the '70s, she has a rats tail down to her waist, she knows her way around an electrical circuit board, and her idea of a bang-up Christmas feast is mung beans and a tofu bake. So she's not your average box of celebrations and a souvenir tea towel kind of gal.
