For years, I've noticed solitary gloves on the ground in winter. They fascinate me, lying there frozen in their final gestures, wet, hand-shaped blankets begging the question, how did they get there? Dropped from a handbag while fumbling for a tram ticket on the way to a job interview, discarded on the spot in favour of a new pair received as a gift, or perhaps something slightly more sinister? A pair would make sense, but it's always just one.
Alcohol will be available at this opening. (This will become relevant later.)
Lane Cormick is really into the Eastern European body artists from the 1960s and 70s. There was a group of 'Viennese Actionists' who were most known for their rather violent and fucked up 'trangressions' of the body. Their stunts were pretty bloody and shocking.

Unless you are looking for a skirt that only just covers your rude bits or you feel like doing battle with Albury Wodonga's Competitive Shopping Team. Things do get a little more palatable when you cross Church Street: The Richmond Farmer's Markets for fresh veg, Living Edge should you want to casually buy an Eames chair and now Bosisto's Liquor Bar.

You don't have to be full of steroids, speak with a moronic drawl, and share your first name with a cartoon cat to do the rock climbing thing. Beneath a section of the Monash Freeway in Richmond hide three walls just off the Main Yarra Trail, which are open to anyone who ever considered telling gravity to ‘go shove it'.
