Inside every pumpkin is an amusing Jack-O-Lantern waiting to be set free. That and a lot of slimy seed pulp. I won't lie, pumpkin carving is a messy and potentially dangerous thing to do. But, as an enduring symbol of man's knack for finding mirth in dark and scary times, the hollowed out pumpkin with a candle stuck in it is hard to beat.
Ooh-Ee is no newcomer to the Melbourne DJ scene and, with over seven years' experience, he can win over the most diverse of crowds. Not many DJs can tear it up at our urban-flavoured club night Favela Rock, then head down to C-Grade and produce a flawless disco set. So, how does he keep it all going?
The answer lies in some seriously good home cooking - and to get the inside word on his secret, we had him drop some of his expert knowledge.
Step 1:
At a low heat in a pot add the oil and curry paste and mix well. Then add the chicken and stir until half cooked
Step 2:
Add the coconut milk along with the fish sauce and sugar. Please mix them well.
Step 3:
Add the water and green beans and bring back to the boil. Pour into a bowl and then garnish with the kaffir lime leaves.
