This official Daft Punk after party has sold out. But we have 3 double passes to give away. Email win@threethousand.com.au with subject line 'I want to chain myself to Daft Punk'
Description:
The Modular people recognise your need for more than a few hours of robots dancing on giant pyramids. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful in obtaining a ball and chain to tie to the ankles of French duo, Daft Punk so they could not leave the stage. But they have arranged an after party on Friday so your feet need not stop the dancing.

Pixelated palm trees blur into the background as your cherry red Lambo speeds into the sunset. That's the scene set in the video game world of Plug-In City, the latest foot soldiers from Modular Records' ‘80s dance dance revolution.
This heaving, seething Melbourne five-piece wields slinky bass lines, squelching synths and urgent flock-off vocals.
Being signed to Modular could be likened to being born into a family of over achievers, laden from conception with the burden of expectation. Van She are the latest Modular signing and have just released a six track self-titled EP which is like a Nike high-top wedged in the door of the rock-pop-electronic-synthesised world inhabited by likes of Cut Copy and The Presets.
After extensive testing on animals, OS and national tours, and two EPs ( Blow Up, The Girl And The Sea ) The Presets have released their debut album Beams. The Presets have concocted a powerful party time potion that straddles both rock and dance sets and one can ask the question how does such an awesome live act translate on recording? Well, let's just say that Beams is the sort of album that winks at you from the other side of the room and makes your shoulder move up down until the rest of you follows, resulting in long night of scandalous, naughty behaviour.
