Mike Relm is as badass as they come. He has won turtablism championships, plays live with completely original video DJing mash-ups, and is just releasing his first album that features Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Mr. Lif, and Lateef the Truth Speaker. He is coming to Australia with Good Vibrations festival and we think he is the underdog of the lineup, but the one who will blow you away the most.
Naive opinion brands Dosh as white-boy experimental hip hop just because he sits on the Anticon roster. Sure, there are percussive leanings towards the genre on Wolves and Wishes (evident through air-tight breaks) but beyond this there's instrumental mastery and a nerd-like splicing together of encyclopaedic music knowledge and composition.
DJs Edo and Steezy are awesome DJs in their own right, but team them together and it's the Apollo Kids that drop the bombs. Sure, we might be a little biased - they are regulars at our nights after all - but those who know, know: their 4-deck sets have been known to reduce dance floors to sweaty messes.
I'm so white. And gay.
So it will sound pretty ludicrous when I tell you about the dope beats and mad flow this Chicago duo gots. But from their name alone, you know The Cool Kids are that new hip hop act all us discerning listeners have been dreaming about: one you can love without a hint of irony or guilty pleasure.

True, there has been little to recommend Seven Nightclub in the past (and we are not going to sully your day with inglorious southside social anthropology), but now the party has arrived and its name is HOOPS. Well it's not a club night, it's a girl DJ team and these ladeez are unreal - in a red lips, high hair, sparkly dresses playing hip hop and crunk but also Japanese pop kind of way.
