The third compilation from Parisian purveyors of ‘lectro dance mash and gravy, Ed Banger Records, is out now, proving that Busy P and his gang can still throw thrash metal, rap, and pop through the electro blender and deliver it loud and with lots of treble. This is the way the best days of our lives are lived.

Winterpark are just back from their world tour, but as usual they look like they went on holiday with Jean Seberg to the year 1960. Their electro pop is atmospheric (read: you will not feel like you're in Sydney and it's Gay Bash night at the Oxford Hotel) and they are really, really good.

Baby Boomers' Disco chintz returns emasculated and in altogether more sinister form with the new Italians Do It Better compilation, After Dark. Recent 12" and blog-only tracks by label artists Chromatics, Glass Candy, Farrar, Professor Genius and Mirage plunder Moroder and Studio 54 signifiers with cool and deadly intent, electro-shocking their falling synth patterns, Cabasa'n'bass rhythms, vocoder and electrolised strings to new, mercurial heights.
