The Safari Team have been up to their chins in posted goods lately. After picking up their paper megaphones and announcing another Craft Exchange date, handmade goods came spilling in from across the land. Bundles of sticky tape, knobbles of blu-tac and an Everest-sized mountain of papier mache.

Now you'll have to clarify, "which meet me at mike's, pal? Richmond or Fitzroy?" The new Meet Me at Mike's on Brunswick street is up the Gertrude street end - the end which seems to be blossoming with crafty stores, unlike the other with 24 hour convenient outlets.

Step 1 - Build your diorama
Think about going for a run and buy a pair of sneakers. Put your Nikes to the side and cut out the base of the shoe box leaving a ½ inch lip around the frame.
Step 2 - Perform your puppet show
Pop a couple of philosopher finger puppets on.
