Having received airplay over the years from triple j and releasing two previous EP's, Addicted Romantic is the well-timed first album from the Sydney five-piece Faker. Influenced by The Smiths, The Cure, The Pixies and Echo and the Bunnymen, singer/songwriter Nathan Hudson fuses dark emotive subjects with a dash cunning indie-pop sensibility.
