To be honest, Architecture In Helsinki have at times sounded a bit too much like a school band for our liking. However, with sold out shows all over the world and a recent collaborative remix release featuring the likes of Hot Chip and DJ Medhi we are more than happy to that say that we may have judged too quickly.
The remixes cast a completely different light upon songs that may have seemed a bit thin upon first listen. We Died, They Remixed is an album that oozes the personality of the remixers and thus highlights the talent and musical depth of Architecture as well. For this release the group have looked beyond themselves and beyond the local scene engaging in a process and achieving a result that will boost their reputation both near and far.
