The Vivian Girls are characters in a work of outsider art by the completely cray-cray artist and civil war expert, Henry Darger. The chicks have dicks and start a war against the Glandelinians. Besides that, it has very little to do with the Brooklyn buzz group that shares the name of the seven sisters. Just kidding, these girls are totally not half'n'half like Lady Gaga, they are 100% female, play some scuzzy garage revival, and talk a lot of shit when on camera.
A few months back I got to chat with Katy but I didn't record it because I have something wrong in my brain. It's a tumour. Anyways, I was given a chance at redemption when we sleazed another interview out of some poor publicist, with Cassie this time, and it was way better anyway. I think she was drunk.
Patrick Collins: You guys just played a show didn't you?
Cassie Ramone: Oh we're about to play a show here in, uh, Missoula but we haven't gone on yet.
PC: Have you played Missoula before?
CR: We have. We played here last year on our first US tour and it was kind of a weird show because it was just us and one local band and everyone left after the local band. There were like five people there for us. I think it will be a lot better tonight.
PC: Yeah I expect it to. So do any of you three dye your hair or do you just have a natural trifecta of blonde, red and brunette?
