Fast forward to 2007, to an inner city faux-warehouse-come-rave-cave in uptown Melbourne and you're most likely going to hear Simian Mobile Disco's homage to those Eurobeat superstars in the form of their new track ‘It's The Beat', courtesy of Ninja from The Go Team.

M.I.A's new single starts with a vehement call to her critics. Her lines acknowledging that it will be hard to follow Arular, her debut album that blew up worldwide. The aftermath has meant everyone is expecting anything she will drop will explode in their ear drum.
'Raven'
Following his debut release 'Dance Not Dance', Germany's Cajuan pulls on the happy pants and shuffles his way onto the biggest dance floors for this Nu-Rave spec-pang-tacular.
Complete with a huge distorted orchestral hook ala Justice and more drive than a Mack truck 'Raven' is set to be one of the larger tunes in the global underground over the next few months, with a cover designed by none other than Melbourne's own Dan Whitford (Cut Copy, Alter) it makes a Fine addition to any collection and an essential purchase for any budding dancefloor destroyers.
Phantom Part 1 (Track Review)
So, if you're addicted to blogs like we are, you'll have no doubt already downloaded this track, maybe thinking it was from Justice's new album. Unfortunately it isn't, but rather an older production that never got released. Formerly available on their MySpace page for download, the track created a buzz for that messed-up French sound.
