Sure, the UN has a ‘counter terrorism strategy’. When it comes to the crunch though, who’s really going to protect us? As Einstein said, “The individual must not merely wait and criticise, he must defend the cause the best he can. The fate of the world will be such as the world deserves.”
In this libertarian vein, Kellogg’s has released a range of Spy Gadgets, distributed cunningly in packs of Sultana Bran. We have uncovered two out of a rumoured set of three. They are the Message Transmitter (looks like a tiny camera but sends morse code messages using a flashing light) and the Motion Sensor (looks like a motion sensor).
Official Instructions for the Motion Sensor:
1. Place unit on a flat surface and point the SENSOR toward another point. The 1-metre space between the sensor and this point is now under surveillance
2. When movement is detected, the unit will beep for 2 seconds
3. If no movement is detected for a 5-minute period, it will automatically switch to standby and stop detecting movement.
So you can monitor your stuff for 5 minutes at a time as long as it’s less than one metre away from the sensor and you are close enough to hear the beep.
