Right after the rooftop yoga finishes this Friday morning, the Rooftop Market will start setting up. You might remember ThreeThousand's attempt at a rooftop market a few years ago - the one that ended up being in our drafty office instead of on the roof? Well this year we've teamed up with local designer / buyer / consultant / wonderwoman Jackie Fazekas (of Fazeek) to redeem the dream.
There will be eighteen stalls out on the smart grass - run by individual Melbourne designers. There will be champagne. There will be cash-only sales. There will be a playlist authored by people of excellent taste (ie: the designers).
The list for the first week is awesome. Expect James Cameron, Ant!podium, Limedrop, Boy on Bike, Zip Zip, Precious Pirate, Jasmina Krupic, Pigeon Combine, Lady, I'm OK, Emma Grace, Kuwaii, Bonfire Folk / Square Peg Round Hole, Sunday Morning / Outskirts, Hanna Ren, Leyla, Igheadquarters, Marie says Eat Cake and Is Not Magazine.
Grab your cash and meet us on the roof, not in our office, from 11am this Friday.
