No matter how hard you try, sometimes it can be difficult to carve your own identity in the fashion hyper bowl. However, local label Jaakan refuse to be beaten down by stripy scarves or fluoro skinny jeans. Instead, designers Mary Zaf and Pippa Joseph inject their own personality through a collection of vintage fabrics sourced from all over the globe.
For winter the duo have paired boleros and flirty balloon skirts over opaque tights, while their range of frocks like little Lorna (pictured) are a breath of fresh air in a city that can sometimes seem clouded with stagnant fashion faux pars.
