If only Too Obscure had been around several years ago, to save me from the clutches of an identity/wannabe hiccup. Amidst a bout of teen-angst-induced compulsion to be unique, I decided to design a band t-shirt; a tribute to Bill and Ted's Wyld Stallyns. Theoretically, I'd be so 'out' I'd be 'in'. My attempt at being musically esoteric failed. I spelt the band's name like a geek (Wild Stallions) and used a busted gold Posca that leaked everywhere.
Too Obscure can prevent this ever happening to you. With six bogus bands' shirts for sale, anybody can play the part of a mysterious band-fan fag!
Nobody's going to risk battering their cred by asking who this or that band is emblazoned across your chest. Too Obscure is too clever!
Check out the Hallucinogenic Sports Institute t-shirt who, hailing from London, follow the musical lead of My Bloody Valentine, with the lyrical cheekiness of Pulp. You Don't know them? Oh, I see.
Too Obscure are featuring in "Urban Jungle Street Wear" Fashion @ Fed Square market and fashion parade Thursday 25th Aug. Market between 12-5pm and Fashion Parade between 6-8 in the BMW Edge Atrium...
