UPDATE: Email just received from Joel (i=it); "The Tote is officially back open! They got the news from LL officially just then. Chaos. Not sure what it means for our launch yet whether it will go ahead or be rescheduled. Let you know asap."
ORIGINAL POST: What is going on? The Tote has all just cancelled all gigs after May 18. They're saying: "The Tote Hotel is closed until further notice. All gigs are cancelled as of Monday May 18th. Due to uncertainty surrounding our license we are not opening until the matter is resolved. More info as it comes to hand."
Does it have anything to do with last year's freehold sale? Is this the aroma of doom on the breeze? Also known as '$4 gourmet pizzas and wacky bar staff'? The ghost of the Punters Club is nodding, but he is always dramatic about this stuff. Send us updates if you have them.
