Dainty, smart and elegant - Little Peninsula is like the new girl in your class whose natural grace is matched with just the right measure of shy humbleness - so you don't hate her for being so damn pretty.

Little Peninsula carries itself with the quaint character and grace of any number of Melbourne 's signature cafe/wine bar offerings. But compared to your average purveyors of panini it sets itself well from the pack by selecting fare from a range of quality produce and artisan-made cheeses, wines and other goodies sourced from Victoria's Mornington Peninsula (with the exception of a few treats such as the wicked Fräus European hot chocolate)

The signature antipasto dish provides colourful offerings of prosciutto, roasted capsicum, hot meatballs in tomato concasse, marinated artichoke hearts, char-grilled baguette, semi-dried tomato tapenade, chilli kalamatas, smoked salmon and homemade beetroot dip, which comfortably fed two for $13.50. Exceptional value extends to hot breakfasts, which start at $6. Visit for lunch on Monday or Tuesday to be treated to complimentary wine with your meal.
